House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told reporters that Bill Clinton testified that to his knowledge President Trump was not involved with Epstein.
"Trump has never said anything to me to make me think he was involved with Epstein," Comer said.
After Bill Clinton finished up his deposition, Comer said that the former president exonerated Trump.
"Today, former President Clinton exonerated President Trump under questioning from the Democrats. He stated that he has no information that President Trump did anything wrong, and that President Trump never said anything to Clinton to make him think that he was involved with Epstein. President Clinton is now the third witness who has testified under oath that there is no evidence of President Trump committing wrongdoing. It's sick how Democrats have weaponized this investigation to put politics above survivors. Ranking Member Robert Garcia and Democrats must cease their partisan witch hunt against President Trump," Comer said.
On Friday morning, House Oversight Chairman James Comer said that Bill Clinton flew on Epstein's jet dubbed 'Lolita Express' 27 times. Comer also said that Epstein visited the Clinton White House 17 times.
Clinton was all over the Epstein files. Numerous photos shows Bill Clinton with alleged Epstein sex-trafficking victims.
Despite the overwhelming evidence of Clinton's connections to Epstein, the former president remained defiant in his opening statement and insisted he did nothing wrong in his opening statement.
"First, I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing," Clinton said.
"No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things that at the end of the day matter more than your interpretation of those 20-year-old photos. I know what I saw, and more importantly, what I didn't see," Clinton said.
"I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn't do," he added. "I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong."
"As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing — I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals," Clinton added.
Bill Clinton also defended his wife Hillary.
