One of the new fires, being called the "Auto Fire," started near a homeless encampment by the Santa Clara River in Ventura.
The fire was measured at 55.7 acres, and an evacuation order was made for the Santa Clara River between the 101 Freeway and Victoria Avenue.
The River Ridge Golf Club was in danger from the blaze and several commercial businesses were in the vicinity.
