While speaking at the annual Republican National Lawyers Association's policy conference on Friday, White House Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations Tom Homan described the rescue of a pregnant 14-year-old girl who was found living with two adult men who were trafficking her.

Sadly, Homan said that her story is far from unique.

"We just found one two days ago. A 14-year-old little girl. Living with two adult males. Who trafficked her," Homan said. "We found her, she's pregnant. From trafficking being forced into prostitution. 14 years old. We are taking care of her. Both physically and mentally."

Homan explained that while the media likes to portray immigration enforcement as uncaring, it couldn't be further from the truth.

"Despite what the media says, we are not heartless. We care about these kids. I am a father," Homan explained.
