Pritzker Vows Revenge
Grievously irked by the Trump Administration's efforts to enforce immigration laws in his state Gov. JB Pritzker (D-Ill) vows "I will prosecute each and every one of the federal officers--the ICE agents, the FBI agents, the National Guard troops, the Department of Justice attorneys, and whoever else may be in anyway involved in the current terrorist attack by federal agents against immigrants in my state. The crimes they are committing now will be punished when Trump's tyranny ends with my election as president in the 2028 election."
"I have spoken with Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul and other Democratic officials about our current and future legal options," the Governor said. "Trump will be term-limited out of office in January of 2029 if he isn't impeached and removed after Democrats retake the majority in Congress in the 2026 elections."
Pritzker went on to "give kudos to all the great Democrats who have supported us in our state's resistance to the ICE invasion. Cory Booker has been terrific. I've already got him on my short list of potential vice-president running mates when I win our Party's nomination for president. The other people standing up for me like Chris Murphy and Gavin Newsom are all going to be under consideration as potential cabinet members in my administration."
US Attorney General Pam Bondi advised Pritzker "not to get ahead of himself. Actively impeding a federal law enforcement officer or operation, as he is doing, is a felony. If he doesn't cease and desist he may find himself disqualified from becoming president by virtue of being a convicted felon. Aside from that, recent polls show him with a 5% voter backing and trailing behind Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, former Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, former Vice-President Kamala Harris and California Governor Gavin Newsom for the 2028 Democratic presidential nomination."
In related news, Mexican drug cartels are targeting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers and have offered bounties of $2,000 for doxing of agents, $5,000–$10,000 for kidnapping or non-fatal assaults on ICE/CBP officers and up to $50,000 for the assassination of high-ranking officials. Pritzker called this development "another good reason for ICE to stop terrorizing sanctuary cities and states. Every officer should be considering whether what they're doing is worth the risk of going to prison or being killed."
Pelosi Explains Freedom of the Press
This week, former Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) told LindellTV reporter Alison Steinberg to "shut up." The incident occurred as she was being assisted in her efforts to navigate the stairs to the Capitol building in DC. "I could've been seriously injured or killed!" Pelosi contended. "I have a right to walk without being accosted by unwanted questions."
"I was only trying to get Speaker Pelosi's response to Republican assertions that she was at least partially to blame for the disorder at the Capitol on January 6, 2021," Steinberg said. "Former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund has testified that, as required by federal law (2 U.S.C. §1970), he had to get Pelosi's Sergeant at Arms to authorize a call to the National Guard for help with the large crowd surrounding the building on that day. He made his first request shortly after 9 am, but it wasn't until after 2 pm that Pelosi's approval was obtained. By then many people had entered the Capitol and the members of Congress had by then already evacuated."
"What this reporter wants isn't as important as what I want," Pelosi explained. "Freedom of the press doesn't make me obligated to respond to their questions. In fact, the Constitution explicitly states that members of Congress 'shall not be questioned in any other place.' The narrative that has already been established by all the reputable members of the media that January 6 was an insurrection incited by Trump to overturn the results of the 2020 election. This narrative was confirmed by a select committee of the US House of Representatives in December of 2022. Trump should be in prison now instead of the president of the United States. I won't answer questions from any reporter who doesn't agree with me on this crucial point."
Dem Strays from Party Line
Speaking at a NewsNation town hall meeting, Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa) disagreed with Democrats who call Trump and those who voted for him fascists, saying "I'm the only Democrat in my family. I grew up in a conservative part of Pennsylvania. I know and I love people who voted for President Trump. But they are not fascists, they are not Nazis, they are not trying to destroy the constitution or democracy."
He went on to caution "against inciting violence against our political opponents. The whole point of having democracy and constitutions is to replace the ancient method of allowing the strong to dispossess the weak by force. We have elections so the people can peacefully choose who will run the government. We have constitutions to protect the rights of the minority from being taken away by the majority. We have courts to hash out disagreements between opposing parties. These more humane methods take longer to resolve the issues of governance, but it's worth the wait."
As a case in point, Fetterman went on to discuss the government shutdown and reminded that "the tax credits for health care were designed by the Democratic Party to expire at the end of this year. This is not something being taken away by the Republicans. The tax credits were intended to expire. Demanding that these credits be extended as the Democratic Party's price for agreeing to a resolution to keep the government open while we debate this issue is taking the government hostage. The negotiations over policy differences should not be made under duress. I say vote to reopen the government now."
Fetterman's deviation from the Party Line has inspired other Democrats to work for his ouster from the Senate. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-NY) pointed out that "Fetterman's abandonment of the principle of democratic centralism threatens the solidarity of our movement for democratic socialism. Look, the majority of the Democratic Party has agreed that confronting the fascism of the Republicans is our top priority. Success requires a united front. Those who refuse to fall in line must be eliminated. Being challenged in a primary is the least that Fetterman should expect. If that fails to bring him into compliance stronger methods may have to be devised."
Justice Jackson Says "Blacks Are Disabled"
Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson cited the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to support her contention that "gerrymandering congressional districts to ensure that there are more majority Black districts is constitutional. Mental ability statistics show that, as a race, Blacks have a lower IQ than any other race. The only way they can be fairly represented in Congress is if they can have districts where their mental disability is out-weighed by greater numbers of Black voters."
Chief Justice John Roberts said "I have long held that the only way to end racial discrimination is to stop using race as a factor in determining a person's rights in our society. The notion that every race should be equally represented in every school, profession, or activity is preposterous. Aptitudes and abilities are not equally distributed among humans. Using racial quotas to decide university admissions, job placements, or congressional districts violates the principle of treating each person equally. All must be free to choose their own course without anyone putting their thumb on the scale."
Jackson countered saying "we already put a 'thumb on the scale' when our laws decree preferred parking spots and access ramps for the physically disabled. Why shouldn't we put our thumb on the scale for the mentally disabled so there voices can be heard in Congress?"
Justice Clarence Thomas argued against racial determinism, saying "I think my own life story makes the case that race may not be as decisive a determiner of our fate as Justice Jackson contends. It is one thing to ensure that opportunities are open to all comers to make the best of themselves. Would-be benefactors may choose to lend a hand, but the process should not be rigged to ensure that the incapable are saddled with responsibilities they cannot handle. Their inevitable failure does not well serve society or the misplaced person."
"Israeli Hostages Treated Better than Average Gazan"
This idiotic statement was made by CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour. "The hostages were a key bargaining chip of Hamas in the peace negotiations," she said. "So, I'm sure they were better fed and cared for than the average inhabitant of Gaza. None of them had to worry about whether aid would get through to them. On the other hand, the latest data released by the Palestinian Ministry of Health says Israel's military killed 67,173 killed Gazans, including 20,179 children."
On October 7, 2023 Hamas took 251 hostages. This week they released the 20 who survived captivity. This amounts to a 92% fatality rate among the hostages. The fatality rate among the Gazans during the war was less than 2%. Many of the Gazans killed were used by Hamas as human shields. Others were killed by Hamas for failing to obey their orders. Members of Hamas are also numbered among the Gazans killed in the war.
Meanwhile, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) celebrated the release of over 2,000 Palestinian murderers, rapists, and terrorists that was part of peace deal, calling it "long overdue. Israel's military strength in the region enables it to capture many of the jihadis who fight against its illegal occupation of Palestinian lands. The much weaker Hamas is forced to target unarmed civilians in operations like the one on October 7, 2023. Of course most of these individuals' only crime was that they were Jews, which the Quran urges Muslims to kill. That some of them were taken hostage was an act of mercy on the part of the Hamas fighters who took them."
In the wake of the withdrawal of Israeli troops, Hamas has resumed its normal execution of disobedient Palestinians with daily firing squads. Hamas politburo member Mohammed Nazzal justified the executions, saying "these civilians consumed food aid that should have been turned over to us to help in our fight to expel the Jews who are occupying our land. They wouldn't sacrifice for us during the war, so they must pay for their disloyalty with their lives now."
In related news, the Democrat candidate for mayor in New York City Zohran Mamdani said "I don't want any pro-Israel voters to join my coalition. Israel has been illegally occupying Palestine for more than 75 years. The only just resolution is for them to permanently leave and go back to where they came from. Anyone who fails to understand this is not a just person and cannot be trusted to help bring true socialism to New York. Why should I invite their support now only to have to dispose of them later?"
Jeremy Ben-Ami, founder of the left-wing group J Street, which is both pro-Israel and pro-peace, has announced that "we are urging our members to vote for Mamdani. We are all committed to the idea of making New York a model of socialist prosperity here and don't hold his anti-Israel views against him." To which Mamdani is reported to have lamented "this is a Trotsky-like deviation that I will have to deal with after I am elected."
Biden Deserves Credit for Ending Gaza War
Now that Trump has gotten the surviving Israeli hostages released and IDF troops withdrawn from Gaza, former Secretary of State Antony Blinken is complaining that he and former President Biden "are not getting a fair share of the credit for this achievement. We exerted continuous pressure on Israel for more than a year asking them to end the war by withdrawing from Gaza. Now after Trump spent a mere week on the problem Israel has withdrawn, the war is over, and the hostages have been released. Where is our Nobel Peace Prize?"
Trump asserted that "the Biden-Blinken strategy was a complete joke. They did such a bad job. The war should've never happened. Theirs was weak leadership. The Biden plan was a total disaster because it didn't put any pressure on Hamas. Hamas started the war by attacking unarmed civilians and killing more than a thousand men, women, and children. They took more than 200 hostages. All that Biden and Blinken did was try to force Israel to give up and hope that the hostages might be released by Hamas as a show of gratitude. Hamas is a terrorist organization. Only a fool would expect them to show gratitude."
"Rather than pressure Israel like they did, I decided to pressure Hamas by getting other Muslim nations to agree to a fair peace plan," Trump explained. "Once these other nations told Hamas to take the deal Hamas agreed and released the hostages. I see that now they are balking at laying down their arms and accepting a democratic government they don't control. They're murdering people in the streets. If this doesn't stop we may just have to kill every member of Hamas. It may be the only way that a lasting peace can be attained."
NBC News' Andrea Mitchell thanked Blinken "for giving us the true story about how this remarkable end of the Gaza war was accomplished. I think that the American people will see through Trump's boasting and recognize that others did the hard work to solve a very difficult problem. I wouldn't be surprised if next year's Nobel Peace Prize goes to former President Biden. That would really give Trump the comeuppance he deserves."
