Part 3 of our do-it-yourself shipping container conex barn build on our off-the-grid land in the Arizona desert. ?????
This build is not complete. The roof is designed for the pitch needed to mount our solar panel array, and is also high enough to park our RV underneath while we build our house. It was cheaper to do the roof this way rather than having it go all the way across the containers, and we think it will be fine for what we need, although it doesn't look as good and may have other slight disadvantages.
We also plan to put on the ridge cap, gutters and rain water catchment for the garden, and we may consider doing further work to the foundation.
