In January 2025, Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), a Jewish Israel lobby organization, told the Israeli government that "Capturing TikTok" was "urgent because the next war will be decided based on how Israel and its allies perform online." Breaking Points said that the problem is that young TikTok users were posting videos of children being killed in Gaza. 

Larry Ellison, the billionaire who donated millions to the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), is set to buy TikTok (with Andreessen Horowitz and Silver Lake). Ellison, 81, just helped his son buy Paramount/CBS, and is also trying to acquire CNN, HBO and  Warner Bros. Discovery. Last week, Oracle made a massive $300 billion deal with OpenAI, projecting a $455 billion in contracts tied to cloud and artificial intelligence.

TikTok recently hired former IDF Israeli army instructor Erica Mindel to "develop and drive the company's positions on hate speech" with a focus on combating "antisemitism."

Critics say that this is an attack on free speech, and it's being done on behalf of a foreign power.

TikTok, which the US government moved to ban last year for allowing criticism of Israel to go viral, is reportedly now in final talks to be bought by a small group of Zionist billionaires.
