Levin, a former Never-Trumper who has spent the last several months at war with right-wing podcasters, wrote on X this morning, "Joe Kent, I would like to interview you on my radio show either tomorrow or Friday or one day next week. For a full hour. I don't know how to reach you. Have your people call my people."
"Sure. Let's go," Kent responded.
This comes after Levin spent the morning attacking Kent nonstop over his resignation, even after Kent agreed to an interview.
Just before inviting Kent on his show, Levin accused him of "appalling antisemitism," adding that he "deserves judgment" from his fellow man:
I know what my grandfather would say about what Kent wrote in his letter. He was a Marine. He fought on Iwo Jima. He was Jewish. He'd be furious.
I know for a fact Kent leaked to Tucker Carlson a meeting the President had with me, at the President's request, which Carlson in turn used on the internet. No President should be treated like that. Apparently, there were more. Not good. And the appalling antisemitism in Kent's public letter deserves judgment, which is why so many of all faiths are condemning it.
Kent will also appear live tonight on the Tucker Carlson Network, Tucker announced.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Kent on Friday resigned from his position as the Trump Administration's Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, citing his opposition to the war in Iran and undue influence from Israeli officials. "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby," he said in a letter to President Trump.
"Early in this administration, high-ranking Israeli officials and influential members of the American media deployed a misinformation campaign that wholly undermined your America First platform and sowed pro-war sentiments to encourage a war with Iran. This echo chamber was used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States, and that should you strike now, there was a clear path to a swift victory. This was a lie and is the same tactic the Israelis used to draw us into the disastrous Iraq war that cost our nation the lives of thousands of our best men and women. We cannot make this mistake again," the letter continued.
