A standoff between US President Donald Trump and several major news organisations escalated on Monday after the White House barred CNN, MS NOW and Politico from its grounds, leading major television networks to suspend their shared coverage of presidential events.
The dispute has also coincided with the launch of 'TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station', a 24/7 digital video stream run by the White House that features presidential remarks, administration videos and selected highlights.
