The Trump Effect is in full swing, as the President-Elect is back making geopolitical waves with his 'mean tweets' – even if now they are posted primarily on his social platform, Truth Social.
One such wave crashed in Canada, where failed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his liberals are scrambling to react to news about tariffs imposed on their country.
Trudeau was reportedly quick to respond to Donald J. Trump's threat to impose tariffs on Mexican, Canadian, and Chinese goods.
Daily Mail reported:
"The incoming president posted on his Truth Social platform Monday night that he would impose a 25 percent tariff on Mexican and Canadian goods as long as the countries continue to allow immigrants to flow over the US border.
He also said he'd impose an additional 10 percent tariff on Chinese goods over the Chinese government's refusal to make good on a promise to use the death penalty on drug dealers."
