If ever there was a time to remind us of about what "the 4th" holiday really is about, this is it...

In the very city that jailed the first victim of Adam's Sedition Act, the man who cast the deciding vote for the Jefferson Presidency the irony could not be greater.  What I am about to show you cannot stand!

Hopefully we can each take a bit a time before Tuesday to honor  – Independence Day, and celebration of the Declaration of it, through some positive reinforcement of principle in one little city.

 Advocates would like to roll this out on Tuesday's city council meeting in Vergennes, Vermont.  

It is an opportunity for us to highlight this and make an example of it nationally. 

Dave (Austin) 8 term city council member)) is on the ground there and prepared to coordinate local and virtual appearances during public comment. 

Here are the details - 

Dave sent me this last night (attached). The PDF is an agenda for the Vergennes, Vermont city council meeting coming on Tuesday. I would like your input and suggestions of others who might take this up with us to create a record during this meeting.  

I would like to do a conference call for this. Can you all do Sunday night? Monday morning? Please send times you can be available. I will do calls with anyone individually all the way through Tuesday if I have to.  

This meeting agenda was held for posting until the last minute just before the holiday. Please refer to page 16 of the PDF on civil behavior rules.  These are part of the comprehensive attack on speech and thought through suppression of public discourse under the cover of "progressive civility" rules.  

These heavily indoctrinated Vermont towns are the test lab for implementing this at the local level. Vergennes just has special irony that would make it a special exemplification opportunity, due to the history of Matthew Lyon as linked above.
