Using polystyrene foam boards and stucco.
Here's a list of the materials and tools I used. It was about $90 for the materials so if you have the tools already it will be cheaper.
MATERIALS:
- 2 polystyrene boards: ($31.97 x 2)
- 80lb of mortar stucco: $8.58
- Adhesive (Loctite PL300 Foamboard): $5.58 x 3
- Drywall self adhere tape: $13.97
TOOLS:
- Trowel
- Bucket (or something to mix the mortar in)
- Mixer (not entirely necessary but useful)
- Caulking gun
- Knife
- Level or a straight edge
- Tape measure
- Pen/marker/pencil
- Water
- Spray bottle
