The company says the system is designed for data centres, governments and corporations moving large volumes of information, rather than household broadband. Blue Origin claims TeraWave can deliver speeds of up to 6 terabits per second globally. The move puts Jeff Bezos into direct competition with Elon Musk's Starlink, which has around 10,000 satellites in orbit and more than 6 million customers across at least 140 countries. Amazon is also developing its own satellite network. So why is Bezos entering this race?
