Disgraced Rep. Thomas Massie (RINO-KY) has determined that his one last grandstanding move will be an attempt to impeach War Secretary Pete Hegseth on bogus charges and perhaps force a vote on the matter.
On Tuesday, Massie announced a whopping EIGHT articles of impeachment against Hegseth. The War Secretary stands accused of violating the War Powers Act of 1973 on three occasions, ignoring civilian casualties, extrajudicial killings, suppressing free speech, kidnapping a sovereign foreign leader, and waging "an unlawful war in Yemen."
These charges focus specifically on the ongoing war in Iran, the bombing of drug trafficking boats in the Caribbean, Hegseth "retaliating" against disgraced Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ), the successful capture of former Venezuelan tyrant Nicholas Maduro, and the aforementioned Yemen War.
