ACTION - Publishing and Accessing An IPFS Website
In addition to a Qortal website for increased overall robustness.

IPFS Website Publishing
With IPFS Desktop open in Files tab, drag the folder containing the STATIC website (not WordPress) into Files. Next, select ... right of the website's folder and Publish To IPNS. BEFORE closing the publish dialox box, COPY and save the two addresses in the dialog box which appear like:
https://k51qzi5uqu5dg8ymlszh6c87mgti06pgd5d94cymnlzrcxyevw6p046mffr5yh.ipns.dweb.link
and
https://k51qzi5uqu5dg8ymlszh6c87mgti06pgd5d94cymnlzrcxyevw6p046mffr5yh.ipns.inbrowser.link/
Those can be accessed through any browser using IPFS Companion extension (instructions below), bypassing the .link public gateway which can be blocked.

To update the website
After editing the website contained in the folder, in IPFS Desktop/Files: delete then copy the updated folder. Then again Publish To IPNS (the IPNS hash must be the same). NOTE: simply dragging the new folder over the old one will not update (add, copy and delete).

To enable direct access to an IPNS website through your own local node: open desktop/PC browser and install IPFS Companion extension, then restart browser before using either ...link above. This is not available for mobile browsers.
The ...link addresses above will forward to direct node access at:
http://k51qzi5uqu5dg8ymlszh6c87mgti06pgd5d94cymnlzrcxyevw6p046mffr5yh.ipns.localhost:8080/
Bookmarking this is suggested.
A user-friendly mobile solution for direct IPFS node access is needed.

To store the website in your IPFS node and help the content to be more accessible by all IPFS users, which helps the publisher:
Open the Files tab in IPFS Desktop, select +Import on the right side near the top of the window. Choose From IPFS. In the dialog box, enter the /ipns/... address, give it a recognizable name, then Select Import. The website's folder will appear in Files.
EXAMPLE: the IPFS published website above will become
/ipns/k51qzi5uqu5dg8ymlszh6c87mgti06pgd5d94cymnlzrcxyevw6p046mffr5yh
To pin it to your node for safe keeping, select ... on the right of the imported folder in Files. Then choose Set Pinning, select the Local Node tick-box and then Apply.
NOTE: After any changes to the website, the website's old folder in Files must be deleted and this paragraph will need to be repeated. This may be very time consuming for large websites and/or slow connections.

A user-friendly solution for viewers to update and pin the IPNS website is needed. If you know of any, contact me. It would be very helpful if IPFS Companion extension would, upon startup, check bookmarked IPNS websites for any changes, then update the local IPFS node's pinned data with any changes. Another good possibility is IPFS Desktop periodically checking for IPNS content updates and incorporating them. Some other user friendly app solution could also work. This would help the publisher with propagation throughout the network of nodes, archiving and, thereby, improve everyone's access speed with more assured future access.

I'm proceeding with some website publishing on IPFS, in spite of the persistent update difficulties for most people viewing. Hopefully, some IPFS developers will see this opportunity. My first IPNS publish of many years is for the next topic.

ANARCHY - Our Enemy, the State by Albert Jay Nock (1935)

I've read and listened to this book countless times and it remains among my most favored. The audio version (first edition) is only about 4 hours long. The text versions linked are the second edition, with many footnotes not in the audio.. The essence of this very important book could have been written yesterday, instead with current references to events.

From the first version preface (1935):
It [the State] has taken on a vast mass of new duties and
responsibilities; it has spread out its powers until they penetrate to
every act of the citizen, however secret; it has begun to throw around
its operations the high dignity and impeccability of a State religion; its
agents become a separate and superior caste, with authority to bind
and loose, and their thumbs in every pot. But it still remains, as it was
in the beginning, the common enemy of all well-disposed, industrious
and decent men. -- Henry L. Mencken, 1926.

For the many historical quotes to better flow, it was written in a 19th century style which some may now find difficult to follow. In the websites linked below, a "Modern American English Edition" is included wherein the first third of the book should be more readable for modern Americans. A markup file of that version is also included, so you may verify the edits have not changed its meaning.

Overall it describes brilliantly the birth of the state from conquest and confiscation, in all cases, its evolution and its centralization of everything and all social power within its conquered territory. This highlights the need for massive decentralization which WILL happen with the inevitable collapse of the state. Then will arise a very rare time to decide, will the state be reborn, probably as a different species, or not? If not, will enough understand the natural, evil nature of the state genus and choose a better genus, government, as described in the American Declaration of Independence (1776). A3Podcast is intended to help people ready themselves for that day and, maybe, how to more gracefully go about it.

I can't possibly encourage you enough to read or listen to this book. If you're like me in highly appreciating it, you'll likely soon read it again to more fully absorb it.

For those with IPFS Companion extension installed on their browser. A website with audio and several text versions is next (Q-Share links don't work over IPFS).

ACTION - Preparation For Land Decentralization

This projects vital importance should be obvious after reading "Our Enemy, the State". To accomplish it, the following actions by people for their local community seem logical:
From local authorities (county assessor), get county/province land maps with property lines
Also, get the current property ownership records.
Identify the oligarch owned land on the map.
Secure the map and data on decentralized platform(s), like Qortal.

A Qortal app could be created as a central index to all the stored maps and data. It could include a global map, like Freedom Cells, with county lines available for any selected area. Then selecting you area would fetch your local map and data. Property you would like to homestead could be identified in advance of the state's collapse. Beforehand, in some cases it could be possible to begin perma-culture to possibly occupation. That would establish use and, therefore, an early claim, when the time comes.

ACTION - David Sorensen - Virtually everything in our world is owned by a single corporation

An excellent introduction to "Our Common Enemy", the global oligarchy. A good description of who the A3Podcast actions need to be directed against, NOT our neighbors.

ACTION - Decentralized Messaging

Are you still using Telegram, Facebook, Protonmail, SMS or other messaging methods that have centralized components that can be stopped? If so, today, we have some user friendly and privacy respecting solutions. If you want to assure your ability to privately message people and be part of a private or public group, the Following applications are recommended. There may be other highly decentralized and virtually unstoppable ones to consider.

Qortal - private messaging and groups with attachments, embeds (images, video) and, very soon, voice calls. https://Qortal.dev
Session - private messaging and groups with attachments, voice messages and voice calls. https://getsession.org/
SimpleX - private messaging and groups with attachments and voice messages. https://simplex.chat/
Bastyon - private messaging with attachments and voice messages. https://bastyon.com/applications
Reticulum - Meshchat on PC has attachments and voice messages but is a little difficult to setup for the non-tech. https://github.com/liamcottle/reticulum-meshchat
Other Reticulum apps are not yet user friendly.
Reticulum is becoming the backbone of Qortal messages.
NOTE: Reticulum may be our last line of private messaging connectivity without IP/TCP (radio, satellite, whatever can send 101010). https://reticulum.network/

If you want to connect on Session or MeshChat/Reticulum, contact me.

PERSONAL - MEN ARE STILL FROM MARS (360p) -The Highwire - Episode 498

An interview with the author of "Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus", by John Gray (1992). This is one of the most trusted relationship books of all time. I read it with my wife 40 years ago and, ever since, have highly recommend reading it, preferably with your partner.
